The Daraudi ( Nepali : दरौंदी ; also Daraudi Khola ) is a left tributary of the Marsyangdi in the central Nepalese administrative zone of Gandaki .

The Daraudi rises south of the Rupina La mountain pass at 4720  m in the south of the Manaslu massif in the Himalayas . The Daraudi flows mainly in a southerly direction through the Gorkha district and finally flows into the lower reaches of the Marsyangdi, 8 km above its mouth in the Trishuli . The Daraudi has a length of approx. 60 km. Its catchment area borders in the east on the Budhigandaki and in the west on the Chepe , another tributary of the Marsyangdi. In the Daraudi river valley, above the left bank of the river, is the place Barpak .

Hydropower

A 6 MW hydropower plant has been planned for the Daraudi  .
