Dario Rubén Quintana

Dario Rubén Quintana Muñiz OAR (born February 4, 1971 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine religious and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Mar del Plata .

Life

Dario Rubén Quintana joined the Congregation of the Augustinian Recollects in and received on 17 May 1997 the prelates of Marajó , José Luís Azcona Hermoso , OAR, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

In addition to various tasks in pastoral care, he was active in the vocational pastoral care of his order and as rector of the College of San José in the diocese of San Martín . He was also a member of the animator group of the diocesan synod of the Archdiocese of Buenos Aires . Until his appointment as auxiliary bishop, he was pastor in San Martín and prior of the religious seminary of San Ezequiel Moreno .

On November 5, 2019 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Bavagaliana and auxiliary bishop in Mar del Plata. The Bishop of Mar del Plata, Gabriel Antonio Mestre , ordained him episcopal on December 28 of the same year . Co-consecrators were his predecessor Antonio Marino and the emeritus prelate of Marajó, José Luís Azcona Hermoso OAR.
