Darja Sajfutdinova

Darja Sajfutdinova (born May 3, 1997 in Novosibirsk , Russia ) is a former German rhythmic gymnast of Russian origin.

Sajfutdinova trained from 2011 to the federal base in Fellbach and is a member of TSV Schmiden .

career

Junior area

Still starting for TV Wattenscheid 01, Darja Sajfutdinova took part in the German Junior Championships for the first time in 2010 and was second in the all-around competition in the age group of thirteen. In the device finals with rope and ball, she also took second place and with the clubs third place. With the tire she became German youth champion.

In 2011 Sajfutdinova was initially part of the junior group of the RSG Rhein Ruhr, which won the national qualification for the European Junior Championship, but was then replaced by Lea Godejohann from Schwerin. In the summer of 2011, Darja Sajfutdinova then moved from Bochum-Wattenscheid to the federal base in Fellbach-Schmiden near Stuttgart .

Senior area

Darja Sajfutdinova started in the senior division in 2013 and was able to win the bronze medal in her first German championship in the all-around as well as in the device finals with ball and ribbon. She also finished fourth with the clubs and German runner-up with the hoop. For the German national team she started at the World Cup tournament in Pesaro , Italy , where she finished 33rd. At the Berlin Masters, which are a competition in the Grand Prix Series, she came in 17th.

On March 22, 2014 Sajfutdinova took part in the World Cup in Stuttgart. Since only two gymnasts are allowed to start in World Cup tournaments per country and these places were taken by Jana Berezko-Marggrander and Laura Jung , she did gymnastics out of competition. Two weeks later she reached 25th place at the World Cup in Lisbon .

At the German Championships 2014 in Halle , Darja Sajfutdinova was third in the all-around competition, with the ball and the ribbon, as in the previous year. She finished 7th with the clubs and 4th with the hoop.

At the World Cup in Sofia in August 2014 Sajfutdinova took part for the first time as a member of the national team group and finished ninth in the all- around with Judith Hauser , Anastasija Khmelnytska , Daniela Potapova and Rana Tokmak , in the final with ten clubs seventh and with three balls and two ribbons Eighth place. The World Championships in 2014 in Izmir closed as the previous year with ninth in the all around and seventh with clubs from the group. In 2015, the group missed direct Olympic qualification at the World Championships . Due to hip problems, Sajfutdinova could not contest the decisive Olympic qualification in early 2016 and ended her career thereupon.
