action

Niels Weber hopes to find his dream car, a 1958 Edsel , in Cuba . But not only that, the trip is also his bachelorette party. During a “rum tasting”, Niels' friends and best man Sven and Maik put him in a dangerous situation by giving him a stimulant in his glass. The beautiful Cuban Annabelle finds him injured and takes him to her house in the country. As a result, Niels not only experiences an unforgettable bachelorette party, but even finds the real Cuban classic car.

The abandoned management consultant and workaholic Dr. Paul Ulrich finds new knowledge. On the ship, he met Maria Weiland from Berlin, who has been a long-term passenger on the dream ship for many years. On her travels she always visits the charming Cuban Ernesto, with whom she dances to the famous "Son Cubano". However, Maria learns that she has lost all of her fortune because the fund that used to finance her trips has closed. She has to say goodbye to the dream ship wistfully. Then Paul begins to rethink his life. He has an idea: with the auction of Maria Weiland's exotic collector's items, which she has brought together from many countries around the world, she will be able to afford a dream ship trip, albeit less luxurious, in the future.

The hobby astrologer Doris Hinrich, traveling alone, tries to get in touch with her fellow human beings by talking about astrology. The cruise director Oskar Schifferle is also one of her “chosen ones”. On shore leave in Cuba, however, she confesses to head hostess Beatrice that she actually only uses astrology as a pretext to get into conversation with people because she feels lonely.

The shy Bernd Hagemann from Castrop-Rauxel has fallen in love with his work colleague, the copywriter Nora Winter. In order to get to know her better, he and his Cuban friends stage a treasure hunt for the wreck of the “San Pedro” with an old treasure map, both of which lead through the whole of Havana. Finally it turns out that the treasure map had an interesting originator: the ship's doctor Dr. Sander, whose grandparents also come from Castrop-Rauxel.
