Dassen is the smallest district of the municipality of Künzell in the eastern Hessian district of Fulda .

Geographical location

Dassen is a scattered settlement consisting of several farms , which is located on Landesstraße 3377 between Dirlos and Dietershausen . Dassen borders Kohlgrund to the north, Dietershausen to the east, Pilgerzell to the west and Dirlos to the northwest.

In the Turkish tax register of the abbey of Fulda from 1605 the place is mentioned under the name Dachsen with only one family.

Dassen was incorporated into the community of Künzell on December 31, 1971.
