David Gill

David Alan Gill CBE (born August 5, 1957 in Reading ) is an English football official. From 2003 to 2013 he was Chairman of the Board of Management of Manchester United . He has been Vice President of the English Football Association since 2012, a member of the UEFA Executive Committee since 2013 and a member of the FIFA Executive Committee since 2015 .

He achieved international fame when, in the run-up to the 66th FIFA Congress on May 27, 2015, he announced that he would resign from his position as a member of the FIFA Executive Committee if Sepp Blatter was re -elected.
