David Sutcliffe (born June 8, 1969 in Saskatoon , Saskatchewan ) is a Canadian actor .

Life

He studied at the University of Toronto and played on the local basketball team until a serious injury forced him to quit the sport. Then David Sutcliffe discovered a new passion: acting . After graduating with a degree in English Literature, David Sutcliffe moved to the United States and made guest appearances on popular series such as Friends , CSI: The Criminals and CSI: Miami . He has also appeared in a number of films such as Under the Tuscan Sun with.

David Sutcliffe's best-known role was that of Christopher Hayden in the hit series Gilmore Girls , which he played from 2001 to 2007 at irregular intervals. David Sutcliffe's hobbies are hockey and yoga. He was married to actress Julie McCullough from 2001 to 2003 .

In 2013 he played the lead role of Aiden Blake in the television series Cracked ; the series was discontinued after the second season.
