Julie McCullough (born January 30, 1965 in Honolulu , Hawaii ) is an American actress and former playmate .

life and career

McCullough became Playboy magazine's playmate in February 1986 , which cost her the previously received title Azalea Queen of Wilmington .

As an actress, she made her debut in an episode of the television series Who's the Boss? from 1987. In the action comedy Big Bad Mama II (1987) by Jim Wynorski , she played one of the bigger roles alongside Angie Dickinson . In 1990 she is said to have lost her role in the sitcom Our Loud Home because Kirk Cameron , star of the series, resented the Playboy recordings.

In the film drama In the Living Years (1994) McCullough appeared in a larger role alongside Mario van Peebles ; One of the bigger roles she took on in the sports drama The St. Tammany Miracle from the same year. In the action thriller Showdown (1997) she played on the side of Peter Weller , Dennis Hopper , Tia Carrere and Joe Pantoliano . In the comedy West from North Goes South (2004), which won two awards at the Beverly Hills Film Festival , she played a dream woman.

McCullough published a few poems for which she was awarded the Outstanding Achievement in Poetry and Poet Of Merit Award from the International Society of Poets . She was married to actor David Sutcliffe from 2001 to 2003 .
