Davide Grassi (born January 13, 1986 in Montecchio ) is an Italian football player . He has been under contract with AO Kerkyra in the Greek Super League since the beginning of 2018 .

Career

Grassi began his career in the youth of AC Parma (from 2004 FC Parma ) before moving to the Slovenian club SC Bonifika in 2006 via AC Cattolica Calcio . The following season he moved to Spain to UD Mérida .

He suffered a triple cheekbone fracture on September 24, 2009 during a Scottish League Cup match between Aberdeen FC and Dundee FC . He was then released on July 1, 2010 at Aberdeen.

He then left Scotland in July 2010 and signed with Sorrento Calcio . After only three missions, he moved to US Triestina . After he didn't play a single game there, he left Italy again and moved to Belgium for FC Brussels . On August 17, 2011 he made his debut in a 1-1 draw against KV Ostend . Two months later he scored his first goal for Brussels in a 4-0 win against K. Standaard Wetteren.

On August 2, 2012, he returned to Scotland and moved to Dundee FC. On August 11, 2012, he made his debut in the 2-0 defeat against FC St. Mirren . He had to take a break for six weeks after a knee operation. He was sidelined for two months after another knee injury.

In 2013 he left Dundee and moved to Aris Limassol . In 2014 he left Cyprus and moved to the German third division club VfL Osnabrück . He signed a contract until June 30, 2016.

After the contract with VfL Osnabrück was terminated in the summer of 2015, Grassi moved to the Romanian second division team Rapid Bucharest . There he was deployed nine times before moving to Sarawak FA in Malaysia in March 2016 . In the summer of 2016, the Cypriot first division team Nea Salamis Famagusta signed him. With the club he fought to stay in the class for the next year and a half. At the beginning of 2018 he left Cyprus again and joined the Greek first division club AO Kerkyra . He only made four appearances there in the 2017/18 season and had to relegate his new team at the end of the season.
