Davis Drewiske (born November 22, 1984 in Hudson , Wisconsin ) is an American ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Philadelphia Flyers in the National Hockey League since July 2015 and for their farm team, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms , in the American Hockey League is playing.

Career

Davis Drewiske began his career as a hockey player with the Des Moines Buccaneers, for which he was active in the United States Hockey League in the 2003/04 season . He then played for the University of Wisconsin – Madison team for four years before making his professional ice hockey debut for the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League towards the end of the 2007/08 season . He then received on April 1, 2008 as a free agent a contract with the Los Angeles Kings , for which he was used for the first time in the National Hockey League in the 2008/09 season . He gave three templates in 17 games. However, he spent most of the season with their farm team from the AHL, the Manchester Monarchs . The left-shooter scored his first goal in the NHL on October 6, 2009 in a 6-4 win over the San Jose Sharks . In the 2011/12 season he won the Stanley Cup with the Kings and was also immortalized on the trophy, although he had only played nine games in the regular season.

On April 2, 2013 he was transferred to the Montréal Canadiens . There he came to the end of the season on 9 NHL missions, but spent the following two seasons exclusively with the Hamilton Bulldogs in the American Hockey League. In July 2015 he joined the Philadelphia Flyers and their farm team, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms , as a free agent .
