Dendlreith is a village in the market town of Waldhausen im Strudengau in Upper Austria .
The scattered settlement is located northeast of the village of Waldhausen and northeast of Schloßberg . It consists of a larger locality and numerous individual farmsteads. While the compact settlement area is in the south of the village near the Waldhausen swimming lake , the numerous individual layers can be found to the north towards the Lower Austrian communities of Dorfstetten and Sankt Oswald .
The history of the place is closely linked to the Waldhausen monastery , which was destroyed several times and lifted in 1792.
