Denis Buntić (born October 13, 1982 in Ljubuški , SR Bosnia and Herzegovina , Yugoslavia ) is a Croatian handball player . He is 1.98 m tall and weighs around 109 kilograms.
Career
His first handball club as a professional player was HRK Izviđač from Ljubuški . Buntić played for HRK Izviđač for the first time internationally in the 1998/99 season in the Euro City Cup . This was followed by player appearances for the same handball club in the Cup Winner's Cup in the 1999/00 and 2000/01 seasons in the EHF CL competition; 2001/02 Buntić played for HRK Izviđač in the EHF Challenge Cup , 2002/03 back in the EHF CL season review, a season to 2003/04 at the EHF Cup participate. Denis Buntić completed his last international professional handball game for HRK Izviđač in the 2004/05 season in the EHF CL competition.
In 2005/06 he moved to the Croatian handball club RK Medveščak Zagreb and was a participant in the EHF Challenge Cup competition this season . In 2007/2008 he moved to the Slovenian handball club of RK Koper and took part in the EHF Cup competition. Denis Buntić has been playing for the Spanish handball club Ademar León since August 18, 2008 and took part in the competitions of the EHF CL season 2008/09. For the 2011/12 season he moves to the Polish club KS Vive Kielce . With Kielce he won the championship in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016, the cup in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 and the EHF Champions League in 2016 . In the summer of 2016 he joined the Hungarian first division team Pick Szeged . Szeged separated from him in December 2017. Since February 2018 he has been under contract again with the Bosnian club HRK Izviđač.
Denis Buntić plays in the right backcourt and is part of the Croatian men's handball team . In the summer of 2012, Buntić took part in the Olympic Games in London , where he won the bronze medal.
