Denis Wiehe
Denis Wiehe CSSp (born May 21, 1940 in Curepipe ) is Bishop of Port Victoria in the Seychelles .
Life
Denis Wiehe joined the religious community of Spiritans and was ordained a priest on August 17, 1969 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Coadjutor Bishop of Port Victoria on April 24, 2001 . The former Bishop of Port Victoria, Xavier-Marie Baronnet S.J. , ordained him bishop on August 15 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Maurice Piat CSSp, Bishop of Port-Louis , Michel Malo IdP , Archbishop of Antsiranana , and Gilbert Guillaume Marie-Jean Aubry , Bishop of Saint-Denis-de-La Réunion .
After Xavier-Marie Baronnet's retirement , he succeeded him on June 1, 2002 as Bishop of Port Victoria.
