The Albardón Department is located in the center of the San Juan Province in western Argentina and is one of 19 administrative units in the province.

It is bordered by the Jáchal department to the north, the Angaco department to the east, the Chimbas and Rivadavia departments to the south and the Ullum department to the west .

The capital of the Albardón department is the Albardón of the same name .
