The Limay Mahuida department is located in the west of the La Pampa province in central Argentina and is one of the province's 22 administrative units .

In the north it borders on the Department Chalileo , in the east on the Department Utracán and the Department Loventué , in the south on the Department Curacó and in the west on the Department Puelén .

The capital of the Limay Mahuida department is also called Limay Mahuida .

Nature reserves
