The King of Narnia is the title of a cartoon produced in 1979 , which is based on the novel of the same name from the novel series The Chronicles of Narnia by CS Lewis . It premiered on April 1, 1979 in both the United States and England.

Four children enter a magical wardrobe and in this way come to the kingdom of Narnia. Jadis rules here, the white witch who curses the country and has covered it with a winter lasting over 100 years. The only hope of the Narnians is Peter, Susan, Lucy and Edmund and the lion Aslan - he is the real King of Narnia.

The film has also been available on DVD in German-speaking countries since November 13, 2008. In addition to audio commentary, removed scenes and original sketches are also part of the disc's extras.
