The Killer Parasite ( Parasite ) is a 1982 SF horror film directed by Charles Band .
action
The plot of the film takes place in 1992. Dr. Paul Dean conducts biological experiments. An accident occurs in which a parasite escapes from its container and lodges in the scientist's body.
Dean becomes involved in a fight in a mountain camp when he tries to save a woman from rape. He comes to Yoshua where he is attacked by youths. The local Patricia Welles helps him and gives him shelter.
The gang gains entry into the scientist's hotel room, where a container with a parasite is found instead of the suspected money. The released parasite attacks one gang member after another.
The employee of an unspecified research institution is looking for Dr. Dean. He attacks Welles, who defends herself successfully. After that, Welles is attacked by the parasite that was feeding on the local youth, and the Dr. Dean kills with ultrasound. The sound lures the parasite out of the host body into the open air. The parasite attacks Welles first, then the killer. Dr. Dean explodes a fuel container, killing the parasite and the killer.
