action

In the western town of Stanton, Cooper is the leader of the local gang. One of his more recent misdeeds is the murder after the rape of a young widow who had taken the fortune of her deceased husband from the bank. The gold also ends up at Cooper. The city's more eminent citizens, alarmed by the ongoing crime, appoint law-abiding Perry as sheriff, but he is reluctant to act. The experienced pistolero Jeff then goes much more rough; some misunderstandings between the two men lead to the death of Jeff's sister. When they finally get together, they can wipe out Cooper's gang down to the last man.

criticism

Mockery and ridicule poured out everywhere: the lexicon of international films saw a trash spaghetti western whose acting performances defy description. , the "Segnalazioni Cinematografiche" longed for the comic plot, the childish staging and the inferior actors for the spaghetti westerns of the first years and Christian Keßler , who devoted several short articles to the film, highlighted the numerous mistakes in directing: Even action scenes are static and filmed lamely, the use of super long shots in shootings and riders falling from their horses, corpses straightening up and senseless and stiff extras running through the western town throughout the film. He sums up: "A bottomless pit, the film!"
