action
At the urging of the railroad company, Deborah Carter has to sell her parents' farm; later she is robbed, raped and murdered by Mexicans led by Montana. Her brother Jeff, who fought in the Civil War, sets out to avenge her. After killing three of Montana's men, he uses beautiful Jane to set a trap for him. It then turns out that Deborah's subordinate Jerome made common cause with Montana. Jeff kills him, takes the money and rides away.
criticism
The Segnalazioni Cinematografiche judged that the film, which is very modest in representation and direction, was reduced to the repetition of well-known situations and motifs. The lexicon of international films also saw a "commercially available brutal Italo-Western based on the stereotypical money and revenge motif common in this genre." Genre expert Christian Keßler , who considers the film to be very boring, notes the most exciting part is put at the beginning and the rest is told in flashbacks.
Remarks
Several minutes of the film were reused in The Ride to Hell .
