The 21-year-old Hasso wants to escape the loveless severity of his parents. Doris is not only ready to hide him, but also to go with him. She feels that her mother has not understood her. Eckehard flees his parents' house because he wants to avoid constant tutelage and excessive demands. His parents keep reproaching him for not fulfilling the hopes they had in him with his achievements. The characters of the young people who spontaneously come together to look for adventure are as different as their parents' homes. They become entangled in several crimes that come to an abrupt end when they are arrested.
