Fred Ludwig

Fred Ludwig (born March 3, 1921 in Langsdorf ; † October 14, 1984 ; actually Alfred Hofmann ) was a German actor who, in addition to his theater work, mainly worked for DEFA and television in the GDR .

After training to be an actor in Hamburg, Ludwig started playing on various stages in 1941, such as in Hamburg, Oldenburg, Bremerhaven and Tübingen. From 1956 to 1963 followed commitment at the Volksbühne Berlin , before he was working as a freelance artist in film, radio, voice and television. In addition, Ludwig impersonated numerous film roles for DEFA and German television broadcasting (DFF) .

Fred Ludwig died on October 14, 1984 and was buried on November 28, 1984 in the Falkensee cemetery.
