Evamaria Bath
Evamaria Bath (born April 12, 1929 in Berlin ) is a German film and theater actress .
Life
After her acting training in 1949, she was engaged on stage at the Berlin Stage of Youth , at theaters in Altenburg, Weimar and finally back in Berlin. From 1954 to 1991 she was part of the Maxim Gorki Theater ensemble . In 1951, Bath made her first film, the DEFA production The Call of the Sea, parallel to her theater work ; followed by many other film, radio and television productions, some under the direction of her husband Hubert Hoelzke . The two have been closely connected, both privately and professionally, since 1951 and have a daughter and a son together. From 1967 to 1982 Evamaria Bath was in a large part of the 678 episodes produced in the popular Neumann radio play series , ringing twice as mother Marianne Neumann.
