Gregory, television presenter and staunch atheist , is sent to the conclave in Rome. There he met the Italian Maria. He falls in love with them at first sight. However, Maria is about to enter an order. Gregory doesn't let that stop him, but strange things happen. When he wants to confess his love, he speaks in foreign languages. Suddenly he has a brain tumor reminiscent of the Turin Shroud . He seems to be competing with the Almighty.
