Deraschne (Ukrainian Деражне ; Russian Деражное / Deraschnoje polish Deraźne or Derażne ) is a Ukrainian village in the oblast Riwne . It is located in Kostopil Raion , about 28 kilometers west of the Rajon capital Kostopil and 30 kilometers north of the Oblast capital Rivne on the Horyn River.
On August 26, 2016, the village became the center of the newly founded rural community Deraschne (Деражненська сільська громада / Deraschnenska silska hromada ). The 8 villages Bychal (Бичаль), Djuksyn (Дюксин), Hanniwka (Ганнівка), Perelysjanka (Перелисянка), Postijne (Постісянка), Postijne (Постісянка), Postijne (Постісянка), and Shylscha (Сустінка), Solnka (Сустінек), and Shylscha (Суслinж), Сустінек), and Shylscha (Суслоin) Together with the village of Bychal, the village formed the district council of the same name.
The village was mentioned in writing for the first time in 1577 and belonged to the aristocratic republic of Poland (in the Volhynian Voivodeship ) until the third division of Poland , then came to the Russian Empire , where it was in the Volhynian governorate . In 1918/1921 it fell to Poland and came to the Volyn Voivodeship in the Powiat Kostopol , Gmina Deraźne . After the beginning of the Second World War , the Soviet Union occupied the area and made the place the capital of the Deraschne Rajon of the same name in 1940 . After Germany's invasion of the Soviet Union in June 1941, the place came under German rule until 1944 (incorporated into the Reichskommissariat Ukraine ), but was annexed by the Soviet Union again after the war and added to the Ukrainian SSR , since 1991 it has been part of today's Ukraine.
In 1959 Deraschne Rajon was dissolved and added to Kostopil Rajon, the place remained a simple village.
