Derrick Arthur Köhn (born February 4, 1999 in Hamburg ) is a German football player . The defender has been under contract with Willem II Tilburg since July 2020 . In addition, Köhn is a former young German national player.
Career
society
Köhn, whose parents come from Ghana , was born in Hamburg . In his youth he played for the local club Bramfelder SV , among others , before moving to the youth department of Hamburger SV in 2013 . With the U19 of HSV, he always played in the north / north-east relay of the A-Junioren-Bundesliga to win the relay, and was once third and once fourth with the team.
In the summer of 2017 he moved to FC Bayern Munich . Despite the possibility of still being used in the Munich A-youth team, he played predominantly with the Bayern amateurs in the Regionalliga Bayern , for the U19 only three times in the Bundesliga and also three times in the UEFA Youth League , where they reached the round of 16 failed at Real Madrid . In the 2018/19 season , the defender, who had matured into a regular player, rose to the third division with the amateurs . At the beginning of the season he had to take a break due to an ankle injury, but was able to quickly make his way back into the starting XI during the first half of the season.
For the 2020/21 season, the defender and his teammate Kwasi Okyere Wriedt moved to the Dutch first division club Willem II Tilburg . Both signed a contract that runs until June 30, 2023.
