Paddy Miquel Nelom (born September 22, 1990 in Spijkenisse , Rotterdam ) is a Dutch football player .

Career

Club career

Miquel Nelom was born in Spijkenisse , a suburb of Rotterdam , and played football in his youth for VV Spijkenisse and for the U-19 team of Feyenoord Rotterdam .

Nelom made his professional debut for Excelsior Rotterdam on October 9, 2009 in the Eersten Divisie , the second Dutch league, against HFC Haarlem when he came on for Tobias Waisapy in the 90th minute . After Excelsior rose to the Eredivisie for the 2010/11 season , Nelom made his debut on August 7, 2010 at the season opener against BV De Graafschap in the first division; the game was lost 0-3.

In 2011 Miquel Nelom moved to Feyenoord Rotterdam and has since played regularly for the team in the Eredivisie. On April 25, 2016 won Nelom with Feyenoord by a 2: 1 in the final against FC Utrecht the 2015-16 KNVB Cup . In the 2016/17 season , Nelom won the championship with Feyenoord.

On January 27, 2018, Feyenoord announced that it would loan Nelom to city rivals Sparta Rotterdam .

In September 2018 Nelson moved to Scotland to join Hibernian Edinburgh and signed a contract until the end of the 2018/19 season .

National team

In 2012 Miquel Nelom had four missions for the Dutch U-20 and one for the U-21 national team .

Nelom made his debut for the Dutch national team in two friendly matches in June 2013 against China and Indonesia , which were won 2-0 and 3-0 respectively.
