KNVB Cup 2015/16

The KNVB-Pokal 2015/16 was the 98th edition of the Dutch soccer cup competition. A total of 85 teams took part in the competition: the 35 clubs of the two professional leagues (excluding the three reserve teams playing there) and 50 amateur teams.

The first round took place in August 2015 the final on 24 April 2016. The winner was for the playoff round of the 2016-17 UEFA Europa League qualifying.

In this round, the 35 professional clubs from Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie and the eight seeded amateur teams got on; The 64 field was completed by the 21 winners of the first round. Teams that competed in a European cup competition could not be drawn against each other. Amateurs had home rights against professional teams (this round only).
