KNVB Cup 2011/12
The competition for the KNVB Cup of the 2011/12 season was the 94th edition of the competition for the Dutch football cup called KNVB beker , directed by the Koninklijke Nederlandse Voetbal Bond . The defending champion was FC Twente .
A total of 92 teams take part in the competition. In addition to the 18 teams from the two professional leagues Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie , which are seeded for the second round, these were the 32 third division teams from the top class and a further 24 amateur representatives.
