Association structure

The German Choir Youth is the federal association of children's and youth choirs within the German Choir Association. Its members, the children's and youth choirs and their members, are organized in the member associations of the German Choir Association (DCV) and regionally in district associations (Sängerkreis / -gaue). In some cases there are independent youth associations within the member associations. The chairmen of these youth associations or the youth representatives (youth officers) of the member associations form the advisory board of the federal association. The federal board, which is elected for three years by the youth choir, manages the day-to-day business of the German youth choir. The federal board consists of the chairman, his four deputies and the president of the German Choir Association. He is supported in this by the team of the office of the German Choir Youth. The association is based in Berlin .
