The German Snooker Championship 2007 was the 11th event to determine the national championship title in the men's snooker billiard variant . This tournament took place from November 7th to November 11th 2007 in the Kurhaus in Bad Wildungen , Hessen . The snooker competitions have taken place there since 2005 as part of the German billiards championships, alongside the disciplines of pool , carom and bowling . In addition to the German men's snooker championship, German champions among women, seniors and juniors (U21 and U19) were also determined.

The defending champion and three-time record winner of the German championship Lasse Münstermann did not take part in the tournament because he was taking part in the IBSF World Snooker Championship (formerly the Amateur World Championship) in Thailand at the same time . Last year's finalist and German champion from 2005 Itaro Santos also took part in the Amateur World Cup.

The six-time German junior champion Sascha Lippe defeated Michael Heeger 4-2 in the final and won the German men's snooker championship for the first time. The two bronze medals went to Olaf Thode and Patrick Einsle , who attracted attention in the 2006/07 season with a wildcard for the Snooker Main Tour . Together with Jan Utikal , Einsle achieved the highest break of the tournament with 58 points.
