German Volleyball Bundesliga 1988/89 (men)
The 1988/89 season of the Volleyball Bundesliga was the fifteenth edition of this competition. The TSV Bayer Leverkusen was German champion . Frankfurt and Türk Gücü Munich had to relegate.

- TSV Bayer Leverkusen

- VBC Paderborn
- TSV 1860 Munich
The SV Türk Gücü Munich qualified as the tenth club, but withdrew shortly before the start of the season and was determined prematurely as the first relegated club.
