Devrim Lingnau

Devrim Lingnau (* 1998 in Mannheim ) is a German actress .

Life

Devrim Lingnau was born to a Turkish father and a German mother and grew up bilingual (German / Turkish). During school she did ballet and attended the Academy of Dance at the University of Music and Performing Arts Mannheim .

In 2014 she was seen in a film in the ZDF television series Aktenzeichen XY ... unsolved . In the third and fourth seasons of the youth mystery series Fluch des Falken of the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation and the children's channel KiKA , she had a continuous role as German-Turkish Yasemin from 2014 to 2015 . In the two-part TV series Unter Verdacht: Verlorene Sicherheit (2017) of the crime film series Unter Verdacht by ZDF and Arte , she played Aleyna Kara, a German-Turkish woman, directed by Andreas Herzog . In the episode Kinderkram of the ARD series Die Kanzlei , she was seen in an episode role as Tonja in 2018.

After graduating from high school in 2017, she shot for the British cinema production Carmilla by Emily Harris with Jessica Raine , Hannah Rae and Tobias Menzies , in which she took the title role. The film premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in 2019 . In 2018 she stood in front of the camera as Emma for the film Borga by York-Fabian Raabe. She had other television roles in 2019 in the episode Still rests the lake in the series In Truth as Nesrin and in the Bozen crime thriller Against the Time as Vanessa Born. In the movie Auer House of Neele Leana Vollmar she had in 2019 a major role as Cecilia.
