Diana Stachowitz

Diana Stachowitz (born March 20, 1963 in Zeven ) is a German SPD politician and has been a member of the Bavarian state parliament since October 2008 .

Life

From 1980 to 1985 she trained as a state-recognized educator at the Fachakademie für Sozialpädagogik in Mölln and at the same time from 1984 to 1985 her technical college entrance qualification at the technical college in Lübeck . From 1985 to 1990 she worked in the Evangelical Lutheran Kindergarten in Traunreut and, in addition to working directly with the children, took on the educational concept development. From 1990 to 1996 she worked as a freelance writer in advanced training for the elementary education departmentand in advising parents on questions of upbringing. From 1996 to 1998 she was the office director and manager of the state parliament office and from 1998 to 2005 of the Bundestag office of Fritz Schösser .

She is Evangelical Lutheran, single and has two children.

Diana Stachowitz ran successfully for the SPD local association Moosach for the first time for the Munich city council in 2002 . There she was a member of the parliamentary group's board of directors, sports policy spokeswoman and family policy vice spokeswoman until 2008. In her role as city councilor, she was also a member of the administrative advisory board for areas of the school department and the sports department. In May 2008 she was elected a second time to the city council, where she was the SPD's spokesperson for sport policy and, since 2008, for school policy.

She ran for election on September 28, 2008 in the Munich-Moosach electoral district and was elected to the Bavarian State Parliament via the Upper Bavaria district list . In the 2013 and 2018 state elections , she was also elected to the state parliament via the district list. There she is a member of the Committee for Economy, Regional Development, Energy, Media and Digitization.

On January 1, 2009 Diana Stachowitz resigned from the Munich City Council.
