The Public Administration ( DÖV ), subtitled journal for public law and administrative sciences , is a legal journal for national, European and non-European public law as well as administrative science . It is published twice a month by Kohlhammer Verlag ; the edition is 1,800 copies. It was first published in 1947.
Editors of the DÖV were Kurt Nederkorn (1953–1977), Frido Wagener (1977–1985), Heinrich Siedentopf (1985–2008). Since 1985 the editing has been with Karl-Peter Sommermann , since 2009 with Hartmut Bauer .
