Lyuba wants to leave the prince's palace at once, but he won't let her go; however, he forces his grandparents to work for him in the kitchen.
In the meantime, Gridja enters the prince's palace to free Ljuba. However, the prince claims that Lyuba chose him of his own free will.

Reviews
- "Love for people turns a snowflake into a girl. Princely intrigues drive her back into the realm of eternal ice, from which it only redeems the love of a potter. Strictly committed to tradition, based on relevant clichés, a film adaptation of a Russian folk tale. " - Lexicon of international film
