The men, who tread on the Tiger's tail or Walkers on the tiger's tail ) is a Japanese film by director Akira Kurosawa , written and filmed in 1945. The film is based on the play "Kanjichō" from the Japanese Kabuki theater, which in turn is taken from the Nō play "Ataka “Results.

The film is shot in black and white and has a lot of silent film classics like " Charlie Chaplin ". Among the film stars Hanshiro Iwai , Susumu Fujita , Ken'ichi Enomoto and Denjirō Ōkōchi , Kenichi Enomoto is probably in top form as a village jester and mountain guide. Depending on the version, the film has a playing time of 58 to 60 minutes.

Even if the film was shot as one of Kurosawa's early works in 1945, it was banned until the San Francisco Treaties due to unpatriotism and similar allegations . It was performed for the first time in 1952.
