The Passion Whiskey is the sixth solo album by the Berlin rapper Silla . It was released on December 7, 2012 via Fler's independent label Masculin as a standard, premium and limited Amazon edition, including DVD, instrumentals, t-shirt, poster and whiskey glass.

The album deals, among other things, with Silla's alcohol antics (e.g. shortly before the blackout , panic in the disco ). There are also many personal songs on the release (e.g. winner , Just like you ). But there are also some battle tracks on the album (e.g. Rap Casablanca , Auf Leben und Tod , MAS-KULIN ). The album is interspersed with songs that reflect the four seasons. So are the songs Second Spring , Summer , Autumn and The First Winter on the album. In the song Tell me what you see, Silla draws comparisons to many other occupations and identifies with them. The album also features typical rap tracks with DPW , Die Passion , #KKK and Silla der Killa . Refrains are dispensed with in the song Silla der Killa and so Silla sings a comparably long verse.
production
Various producers are involved in the production of the album. With five ( Die Passion , Tell me what you see , Blinded by the glow , #KKK , winner (Produes Remix) ), Produes contributed the most beats. DJ Ilan produces the pieces Winner and Second Spring in collaboration with MMinx . The latter also created the instrumental for Rap Casablanca together with Bo Diggler . The producer duo Beatzarre and Djorkaeff are responsible for the background music for the songs Herbst , Auf Leben und Tod , Der Erste Winter and MAS-KULIN . Gee Futuristic produced the songs Silla der Killa and Sommer , while X-plosive created the beats for panic in the disco and navigation . Other productions come from Cubeatz and Beatzeps ( Just like you ), Suburb Kids ( DPW ) and Marcus B ( Shortly before the Blackout ).
Cover design
The album cover shows Silla lying in a bathtub with her arms outstretched, eyes closed and bare chest. There are several whiskey bottles on his body and there are wounds on his wrists that are reminiscent of a crucifixion. The background is sand-colored and in the upper part of the picture is the lettering Die Passion Whiskey .
Guest Posts
Six or eight songs on the album contain guest appearances by other artists. The singer Julian Williams appears in the song winner , while Silla is supported on Rap Casablanca by his label boss Fler and the rapper G-Hot . For Life and Death is a collaboration with rappers RAF Camora and MoTrip and the chorus for The First Winter is sung by Cassandra Steen . In addition, the singers Moe Mitchell ( Blendet vom Schein ) and David Pino ( Herbst ) are each represented on one track. The bonus songs Navigation and MAS-KULIN are collaborations with rappers MoTrip and JokA and Fler, G-Hot and Moe Mitchell, respectively.

Chart successes and singles
The Passion Whiskey entered the German album charts at number 15 in the 52nd calendar week of 2012, but left the top 100 again the following week.
On November 16, 2012, the song Die Passion , including the song Rap Casablanca , was released on iTunes for download. Both songs were able to place themselves in the iTunes charts. Placements in the official charts were not achieved. In addition, a split video for the songs Rap Casablanca and #KKK was released on December 1, 2012 . A music video for the second digital single The first winter followed on January 6, 2013. On May 31, 2013, a video for the song Silla der Killa was also released on the YouTube channel of the rap magazine Backspin .
