Dieter Zinßer

Dieter Zinßer (born November 21, 1942 ) is a Lutheran theologian . From 1995 to 1997 he was state superintendent for the Osnabrück district of the Evangelical Lutheran regional church of Hanover .

Life

Dieter Zinßer studied Protestant theology and in 1970 became pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hanover. He took over his first pastor at the St. Andrew's Church in Hildesheim and also as youth pastor of the church district . Zinßer studied pedagogy while working and graduated with a diploma. In 1977 he went to Loccum , where he took over the leadership of the advanced training in the first years of office (FEA). In 1982 he became director of studies of the preachers' seminary in Loccum monastery . In 1988 Dieter Zinßer became superintendent of the Lüneburg parish . In 1995 he was appointed state superintendent of the district of Osnabrück. From 1997 to 2007 Zinßer was head of the Henrietten Foundation in Hanover. He was prior of the Loccum monastery and still belongs to its convent.

Dieter Zinßer is currently engaged as spokesman for the non-profit association Renaissance Gartenfriedhof for the maintenance and renovation of the garden cemetery in Hanover.
