Dil Ne Phir Yaad Kiya ( Hindi दिल ने फिर याद किया , dt. "The heart remembered again") is a Bollywood film that focuses on a deep friendship between two men.

Ashok works with his best friend Amjad in a toy store in the big city. While Amjad's marriage to his girlfriend Shabnam is finally confirmed, Ashok dreams of the village beauty Ashoo. When he wants to visit her in the village, he finds out that she is being held by his stepbrother Bhagat. Bhagat is after Ashoo's family property and even murdered her brother.
Somehow, Ashok Bhagat manages to outsmart his beloved. They flee the village to make it to Amjad's wedding in time. On the way there happens a train accident that only a few survived. Ashok is among the injured looking for his Ashoo. Amjad learns of the accident and immediately drives to the hospital, where he learns of Ashoo's death.
Amjad takes Ashok home to nurse him back to health. When Amjad holds a picture of Ashoo in his hands, he is shocked. Ashoo is the image of Shabnam. So he lets Ashok believe that Ashoo is still alive in order not to endanger his health. But for a long time they can't fool Ashok and the truth comes to light. It even turns out that Ashoo was Shabnam's missing twin sister. After an argument, Bhagat gets in the way and another argument breaks out in which Ashok loses his life.
