Disjointed (English for "incoherent", but also a play on words with a joint ) is an American comedy series by Chuck Lorre and David Javerbaum . The main role is played by Kathy Bates . 20 episodes have been commissioned by Netflix , ten of which were made available for streaming on August 25, 2017 as "Part 1" on Netflix. On January 12, 2018, the remaining ten episodes were released as "Part 2". The series, held in the style of a stoner movie , deals with the use of cannabis as a medicine and intoxicant . In February 2018, Netflix discontinued the series.
