Djibalé

Djibalé is a village in the rural municipality of Déoulé in Niger .

The village, led by a traditional local chief ( chef traditionnel ), is located about two kilometers south of Déoulé, the capital of the rural community of the same name, which belongs to the Bouza department in the Tahoua region. The city of Bouza is around nine kilometers southeast of Djibalé . Djibalé was built at the upper end of a side valley of the Tarka valley , which is cut into the sandstone plateau Ader Doutchi . Not far from the village lies the origin of the Maggia , another important dry valley .

The Djibalé market was one of the small markets in the region that was authorized by the French administration at the beginning of the 20th century.

At the 2012 census, Djibalé had 5,717 inhabitants who lived in 740 households. At the 2001 census, the population was 4907 in 730 households, and at the 1988 census, the population was 3135 in 517 households.
