Dmytro Salamatin

Dmytro Albertowytsch Salamatin ( Ukrainian Дмитро Альбертович Саламатін , born April 26, 1965 in Karaganda , Kazakh SSR ) is a Ukrainian politician and was Minister of Defense of Ukraine in 2012.

Salamatin was Minister of Defense of Ukraine from February 8, 2012 to December 24, 2012 and a member of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine from February 17, 2012 to December 24, 2012 .

He was also a Member of the Verkhovna Rada , Deputy Head of the Science and Education Committee, and a member of the Budget Committee (July 2006).
