Dolinka (Cyrillic spelling: Долинка ) is a settlement in the Karagandy region , Kazakhstan . The settlement is administratively subordinate to the city of Shakhtinsk .
The place with 5350 inhabitants is located 30 km southwest of the regional capital .
history
The settlement was founded on February 19, 1909 as a village. Dolinka was the administrative center of the Karlag forced labor camp from 1930 to 1959 .
