Dominice Steffen (born December 17, 1987 in Berlin ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Steffen began her career at the age of nine at VC Preußen Berlin in the Hohenschönhausen district . After another station in her hometown at SG Rotation Prenzlauer Berg , she continued her athletic training with the VC Olympia Berlin junior team . Then the outside attacker moved to USC Braunschweig . The junior national player took part in the 2004 European Junior Championship. A year later, she was appointed to the senior national team for the first time . In 2006 she moved to the Bundesliga club NA Hamburg . With the hamburgers she reached the final in the DVV Cup in 2008 and was defeated by VfB 91 Suhl , from which she was subsequently obliged. She lost the cup finals in 2010 and 2011 with Suhl. On October 22, 2011 she tore a cruciate ligament during the Bundesliga game in Aachen . From 2012 to 2015 Steffen played in the 2nd Bundesliga , namely 2012/13 for VfL Oythe and 2013/14 and 2014/15 for the Allgäu Team Sonthofen . After that, Steffen returned to the first Bundesliga for his native Köpenicker SC .
