Dominik Kirschner (born October 2, 1991 in Vienna ) is an Austrian soccer player .

Career

Kirschner began his career at ASV Neufeld . In 2005 he moved to FK Blau-Weiß Hollabrunn . In 2007 he came to the Academy of SK Rapid Vienna . In 2008 he moved to the Academy of FK Austria Vienna . In 2009 he moved to Spain to UE Sant Andreu .

In 2010 he moved to Germany for the second team of Wacker Burghausen . After a season in Germany, he returned to Spain in 2011, where he joined the fourth-class FC Alicante . After a season at Alicante FC, he moved to Hércules Alicante's B team in 2012 .

For the 2013/14 season he returned to Austria and joined the regional division FC Pasching . In March 2014 he made his debut in the Regionalliga when he came on as a substitute for Philipp Schobesberger on the 19th matchday of that season against Union St. Florian in the 90th minute . He scored his first goal for Pasching in April 2014 in a 6-1 win against Villacher SV .

In the summer of 2014 he moved to SV Wallern . After half a year with Wallern, he moved to league competitor SK Austria Klagenfurt in January 2015 . With Klagenfurt he rose to the second division at the end of the season .

After the promotion, Kirschner moved to the regional league club Wiener Sportklub for the 2015/16 season . For the WSK he played 29 games in the regional league that season and scored seven goals. In the summer of 2016 he joined the league competitor FC Stadlau .

For the 2017/18 season he moved to SV Horn . With Horn he rose to the second division at the end of the season. He made his debut in the second division in July 2018 when he was in the starting line-up against FC Liefering on matchday one of the 2018/19 season and was replaced by Mario Vucenovic in the 59th minute . After the 2018/19 season, he left Horn and moved to league rivals SK Vorwärts Steyr . In January 2020, his contract with Steyr was terminated after ten second division appearances and he moved to third-class FC Pinzgau Saalfelden .
