Dominik Krieger (born July 25, 1968 in Schliengen ) is a former German cyclist . He was a professional from 1989 to 1994.

Career

In 1985, Krieger became German vice-champion in the juniors. In 1988 he was able to win a stage in the Tour de la Communauté Europeènne and in 1989 a stage in the Grand Prix Guillaume Tell and Around Cologne . After fourth place at the World Road Championships for amateurs, Dominik Krieger became a professional with the Swiss cycling team Helvetia-La Suisse . He finished third in one of his first professional races, the pair time trial in Baden-Baden , together with Udo Bölts . In 1992 he was the best German driver with 53rd place overall at the 1992 Tour de France . In the same year he won the pair time trial in Baden-Baden with Tony Rominger . For the 1993 season he moved to the German cycling team Team Telekom , where he had to end his career in 1994 due to injury.

Krieger has been working as a physiotherapist in Karlsruhe since 2005 .
