The Dominican national volleyball team for men is a selection of the best Dominican players who represent the Federación Dominicana de Voleibol in international tournaments and internationals.

history

World Championship

In 1974, the Dominican Republic finished 22nd in the only ever participation in a volleyball world championship .

Olympic games

The Dominican Republic has never qualified for the Olympic Games.

NORCECA championship

After finishing sixth in 1973, the Dominicans hosted the NORCECA championship in 1977 and finished seventh. Two years later they moved up to fourth place. After that, they finished sixth four times and fourth twice, with the 1985 tournament again being held in their own country. In 1997, the Dominicans took seventh place. In 2001 and 2005 they were fourth again, and in 2007 fifth.

World cup

The Dominican Republic has never played in the World Cup .

World league

The world league has also taken place without Dominican participation.
