The Costa Rican national women's volleyball team is a selection of the best Costa Rican women players who represent the Federación Costaricense de Voleibol at international tournaments and internationals.
history
World Championship
At the volleyball world championship in 2006 Costa Rica was there for the first time and finished 17th.
Olympic games
Costa Rica has never qualified for the Olympic Games.
NORCECA championship
At the NORCECA Championship in 1987, Costa Rica finished seventh. The same result came in 1995 and 1997. At the 1999 tournament, the Costa Rican women achieved their best result in fifth. Two years later they finished sixth. In 2005 they again took seventh place.
World cup
Costa Rica has not played in the World Cup so far.
World Grand Prix
The World Grand Prix has so far taken place without Costa Rican participation.
