Dominique Lacasa

Dominique-Franca Lacasa (born September 21, 1976 in East Berlin ) is a German singer and actress . She is the daughter of pop singer Frank Schöbel and chanson singer Aurora Lacasa .

Life

In 1985, Dominique Lacasa took part as a singer alongside her parents and sister Odette in the recordings for Christmas in the family , which with 1.4 million was the best-selling album in GDR history . She studied jazz singing at the Hanns Eisler University of Music in Berlin and in 2003 she achieved her singing diploma. Together with Marcus Fritzsch, son of Arnold and Eva Fritzsch , she formed the duo Two Is One . She sang the title song Never Give Up of the successful ARD series Berlin, Berlin and was on stage with ABBA Fever as Frida for a long time . In 2008 she started her solo career and released her first own single under the title go my way.

Her songs range from Latino rhythms to up-tempo pieces to pop ballads .

Dominique Lacasa teaches pop, rock and jazz singing at the Shostakovich Music School in Berlin-Lichtenberg .
