Cathedral singing school

As Domsingschule are music schools referred to the education of children for a Domchor serve.

As a rule, the students are members of a boys' choir . Protestant institutions

The largest institution for Protestant church music in Germany is the Domsingschule Braunschweig . Usually, however, the term Kinderkantorei is used almost synonymously with the cathedral singing school in the Protestant area . The Domsingschule Braunschweig also differs from the typical Domsingschule in that it was only established in 1976 and also includes instrumental ensembles under the term Domsingschule.
